Exercise books, Excel and WhatsApp work, until they don't
A member disputes a balance, the treasurer changes, or a levy has to be collected by Friday. That's when the questions start.
“Have I paid for March?”
“Is she a registered dependant?”
“Where did the money go?”
Everything your welfare runs on, in one system
From the day a member joins to the AGM report, each step is recorded once and shared with the people who need it.
M-Pesa contributions, receipted automatically
Members pay your paybill with their member number. Jalika matches the payment, sends a receipt and updates their statement.

What is a welfare management system?
A welfare management system is software that runs a welfare association's records: members and their dependants, monthly contributions, bereavement benefits, approvals, receipts and financial reports. It replaces exercise books, spreadsheets and WhatsApp threads with one accurate, shared record.
Can Jalika be customised to our association's constitution?
Yes. Contribution amounts, penalties, waiting periods, benefit amounts per relative, approval levels and dependant categories are all settings your officials can change.
Can officials and members access it online?
Yes. Officials log in from any phone or computer with their own role and permissions. Members get a self-service portal to see statements, pay and report a bereavement.
Is our data safe?
Each association's data is kept separate, officials log in with two-step verification, every change is recorded in an audit trail and data is backed up daily. We follow the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019.
Do you offer training and installation?
Yes. Every plan includes setup: we import your members, configure your rules and train your officials, online or on site.
Can we buy the system instead of subscribing?
Yes. Associations that prefer to own the system can buy a licence with yearly maintenance. Most choose the monthly subscription because it includes hosting, updates and support.
